Boats are always available… But, Licensed, Insured, Professional operations with Licensed Captains and crews, and all of the legal requirements in Costa Rica up to date… Those are rare. That is what we specialize in. Not everyone cares about that, but we, and our clients do. We recommend book as soon as you can. You can always cancel outside of 7 days if plans change.
Most charters provide necessary equipment, but it’s advisable to bring:
Lightweight, breathable clothing
Non-slip footwear
Sunscreen, hat, and polarized sunglasses
Motion sickness medication (if prone)
Personal snacks and beverages (confirm with your charter)
Our Cancellation policy is a required 7 day notice of cancelation to receive your deposit back. Inside the 7 day window, the Deposit is lost.

While it’s possible to bring frozen fish fillets back to your home country, it involves several steps:
Fish must be cleaned, filleted, and frozen solid.
Packed in a leak-proof cooler as checked luggage (not carry-on).
Compliance with airline and home country customs regulations is essential.
Due to these complexities, many anglers choose to enjoy their catch locally.
Yes, tipping is customary and appreciated. A standard tip ranges from 15% to 20% of the charter cost, depending on the service quality. These guys work insanely hard to provide you the best service possible. Feel Free to reward them for their efforts.
